Area Sales Manager, Europe/Asia

This position offers you the opportunity to work with international sales, promoting state-of-the-art technology to renowned medical imaging companies. You will develop business and long-term relations in a multicultural and dynamic environment, representing a Swedish market-leading company on the international arena.

ContextVision is the global market leader within image enhancement for medical imaging systems. We develop and provide state-of-the-art software solutions to system manufacturers (OEM business) and our products are used by the most renowned companies worldwide.

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) role

The ASM is responsible for the whole customer journey: initial interactions, product introductions and evaluations, setting scopes of business, negotiations and contract closure, and professional support over time. You will be working in close collaboration with our application engineers and, in many projects, with our R&D team.

The ASM territory is Europe and Asia and includes sales through various channels in different countries – direct sales, distributor and agent.

The ASM role includes lead generation and sales with new prospects, but is primarily concerned with business development for existing customers.

Frequent international travelling is an important part of the ASM role (up to 60 days/year).

The position is based in Stockholm or Linköping.

Qualifications

Proven track record of minimum 5 years of successful technical, industrial salesMinimum 3 years of experience of international sales and business developmentProven ability to lead and drive complex sales processes with long cyclesStrong communications skills in Swedish and English (verbal and written)Master’s degree in technical or engineering field (marketing, business management or similar is a merit) Experience from the medical technology industry is a merit
